Linda Böse’s artistic work centers on essence, reduction, and transformation.
Her early Black Paintings were rooted in reflection: monochrome black surfaces that acted as psychological mirrors, inviting projection and stillness. Following a period of profound personal transformation, her work began shifting away from the void and toward embodiment: colour, density, material, and emotional presence.
This transition marked a movement from introspection to incarnation. From distance to expression. From observing identity to inhabiting it.
Today, her paintings combine sculptural depth, restrained composition, and symbolic colour palettes to create works that feel intimate, spatial, and deeply human at once.
